The 94th Rotary International Convention - Brisbane, Australia, June 1 - 4, 2003
Inside the Exhibition Hall, House of Friendship. There were booths set up through the hall by vendors like Russell Hampton, special interest Rotarian groups who were involved in things like astronomy, photography, golfing, sailing, etc. You could pick up information at the booths about their special interest. There were booths for the Rotary Centers for International Studies, Rotary publications, and other Rotarian special projects. A big variety of information.

In the lobby of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center

Inside the auditorium. It was a huge room, carpeted and paneled in wood. Very beautiful. Held about 6,000 people, maybe more. The opening ceremony was in three sessions. The huge screen at the front, shown here, was as wide as the stage and had a big screen on each side and there were two more big screens further back in the auditorium. So no matter how far back you sat, you could see the speakers and entertainers. In this picture, you can see how small everyone on the stage looks, and I was only half way back.
