The 94th Rotary International Convention - Brisbane, Australia, June 1 - 4, 2003
In 1991 the Queensland Government committed to the construction of a dedicated convention and exhibition centre in Brisbane on the site of the former World Expo 1988 Fun Park. The site located within just minutes walk of the Brisbane Central Business District and the city’s wide selection of accommodation options is readily accessible by car, taxi, bus, train and ferry. The purpose built Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre was officially opened on Queensland Day, 6 June 1995.
