LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

December is our month to give back to the community by our talents, our time and our resources.

One of our special groups is the foster children of our county. We partner with the Crescent Junior Study Club to provide gifts for the teenagers. The Daily Mountain Eagle Shoe Fund is another worthy cause that our fundraising efforts go to assist. With the natural disaster the county just experienced, our contribution is very necessary. The motivation of our service is the satisfaction that we receive knowing that our community has benefitted.

On an international level, the Polio Plus Campaign will be a project that all Rotarians can participate in and globally make a difference. A healthy life free of disease is a blessing many of us take for granted.

I want to wish all of our members and their families a Merry Holiday Season and hope all of us enjoy time with family and friends.

Yours in Service

Linda Burns
