JANUARY 2002

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

I want everyone to know how much I appreciate your efforts regarding the clock project. Comments from the people of Jasper have been very positive and plentiful. I must share with you a call I received New Years Day. The caller praised the Rotary Club of Jasper for providing such a beautiful addition to our city. Additionally, the caller wanted our mailing address so that they could make a contribution to our Foundation. So Rotarians, Thank You, it's the talk of the town.

Now we must redirect our focus to the balance of this years projects. We need to continue our push for new members, and we need to sustain our attendance percentage. It's a great time to be a Jasper Rotarian, so take pride in your membership. Participate when asked, attend every meeting, and spread the benefits to someone who is deserving of membership in our great club. Remember, Mankind is our Business.

Yours in Service,
Chad Adams

In addition to his Rotary participation, Cliff also serves on the Salvation Army Board of Directors and is Vice President of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce. Cliff believes strongly in the Rotary Club 4 Way Test.
Cliff and his wife of 30 years, Pamela, moved to Jasper in 1979 from Huntsville. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Jasper and has 3 children, one of which resides in New Zealand. Cliff is truly a Rotarian we can be proud of. Congratulations Cliff!
