Newsletter - April 2002

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

I have just completed our application to the District Governor for our club’s qualification for Club of Distinction. Let me be the first to thank each of you for your efforts in this great endeavor. I hope you all agree we have had an extraordinary year. The Rotary Club of Jasper continues to set the standard for civic clubs in our community. I am of the opinion that you Rotarians are the best.

Now I have three more requests to ask of you: District Conference, District Conference, District Conference. Well I guess that’s just one big request. The club has budgeted enough money to send eighteen people to Huntsville to attend. The date is April 26 - 28. It is a wonderful opportunity to show support of our club in the district, but most of all to show support of Rotary. If you would like to attend, all or even part of, the conference - please let me know.

Yours in Service

Chad Adams
