Tony has been a Rotarian since March 1990 and is employed by First National Bank of Jasper.
Pam Fikes 2003 - 2004

A member of Rotary since 1999, Pam has worked for the club as bulletin editor, webpage editor, club service director, and president elect. Pam and her husband, Max, have lived in Walker County throughout the 27 years of their marriage and have two daughters, Amanda and Amy. Pam is currently the manager of the Jasper Employment Service and serves on many boards and planning committees, including the JOBS Advisory Board, SOS Steering Committee, Workforce Development State and Regional Planning Councils, and the Career Center Advisory Board.
Pam is a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Jasper. She enjoys gardening, reading, remodeling, and traveling. She has an associate degree from Bevill State in Psychology, and will graduate from Jacksonville State University in May 2008 with a BS in Emergency Management/Homeland Security.

Linda Burns 2002-2003
A member of Rotary since 1989, Linda has worked for the club in many capacities. She has organized the Jasper Rotary Annual Egg Hunt for 4 years and served as president-elect.
Linda and her husband of 21 years, Pat Hyland, have lived in Jasper since 1989. They have a daughter, Kathleen. Linda is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida and has a BS Degree from Alabama in Nursing, MS from UAB in Nursing and a JD from the Cumberland School of Law at Sanford. She has practiced law in Jasper since 1989.
Linda is a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, sits on the Board of Directors for DayBreak and Beacon House and belongs to the Savvy Ladies Investment Club. She also is a registered nurse and is on staff at Children’s Hospital where she nurses and lectures and has done so for 17 years. In addition to her professional activities, Linda also does heirloom sewing.

Chad Adams 2001-2002
Chad and wife Rebecca have been members of the Jasper community for 10 years, and came to Jasper from Birmingham. They have two children - Ryan and Charli - and are members of Woodland Trace Church of Christ. Chad has been employed by Drummond Company as Executive Assistant for 10 years.
Chad, a Rotarian for 6 years, has served as President of Jasper Rotary from 2001-2002, as well as serving as secretary for 2 years, treasurer for 2 years and also as vocational service director.
Besides his Rotary activities, Chad has also contributed to our community by serving as chairman of the United Way Allocation Team for Walker County, chairman of Walk America for the March of Dimes and chairman of the Mountain District Friends of Scouting.
Haig Wright 2000 - 2001
Haig has worked in Jasper for much of his career as a provider of insurance products, first with Primm Wright Insurance Company and most recently with Byars and Associates. Haig has been a member of Rotary since 1991.
Ted Killingsworth 1999 - 2000
Ted is a long term employee (18 years) and officer with First National Bank of Jasper. Ted and his wife Lisa reside in Jasper and Ted has been a Rotarian since 1991.
Betsy Lavanna 1998 - 1999
Dr. Lavanna is past president of the Rotary Club of Jasper, a member of the President’s Cabinet of the Walker Area Community Foundation, secretary of the Jasper Community Development Corporation, and a member of the JOBS Advisory Board of the Department of Human Resources. She is a graduate of Leadership Walker County and served as chairman of the Walker County School-to-Career Partnership from 1996-1999. Dr. Lavanna has been a member of the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Walker County and the Walker County United Way Cabinet. In 1995, she was an Alabama delegate to the White House Rural Mini Conference on Aging.
In partnership with the City of Jasper, Dr. Betsy Lavanna, Director of Institutional Advancement at Bevill State Community College, spent much of 2000 and 2001 directing the restoration of the Carl Elliott House Museum on behalf of the College. Throughout the process, she worked closely with members of the Elliott family and Elliott’s longtime Congressional Aide Mary Allen Jolley to portray the house as it existed during the years that the Congressman was at the height of his political career. The museum, which opened in July, is owned and operated by the College.

Al, a long time employee and officer at First National Bank of Jasper, has been a Rotarian since 1991. Al and his wife, Brenda, reside in Jasper.

Joe, a long time employee and officer of First National Bank of Jasper, has been a Rotarian since 1983. Joe and his wife Bonnie reside in Jasper.
Fred G May 1991 - 1992
Fred has been doing business in Jasper for many years as the owner and manager of the downtown location of G. May and Sons Furniture. Fred and his wife, Susan, reside in Jasper. Fred has been a Rotarian since 1981.
L. Gwaltney McCollum Jr. 1990 - 1991
Gwaltney, President of First National Bank of Jasper, and his wife Libbo reside in Jasper. Gwaltney has been a Rotarian since 1983.
Clifton A. Rhodes 1989 - 1990
Cliff Rhodes has been a Rotarian for 20 years and has served as Rotary President, Secretary/Treasurer, Club Service Chairman and Community Service Chairman, as well as being a board member for several years. Cliff has also chaired such projects as the Rotary Christmas Tree sale in years past and has acted as coordinator for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing for the last 5 years. In addition to his Rotary participation, Cliff also serves on the Salvation Army Board of Directors and is Vice President of the Walker County Chamber of Commerce. Cliff believes strongly in the Rotary Club 4 Way Test.
Cliff and his wife of 30 years, Pamela, moved to Jasper in 1979 from Huntsville. He is an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Jasper and has 3 children, one of which resides in New Zealand.
Larry E. Lapkovitch 1988 - 1989
Judge Larry Lapkovitch has served as District Court Judge in Walker County for many years and has been a Rotarian since 1982.
